i don't have a solution for you but when researching the same topic, i found that i would have to disagree with the battery removal or assumption of defective motherboard. UPDATE: Went through the entire list once, still no luck. If your power supply doesn't work after testing it, you'll probably need to replace it in order to get your computer working again. I live in Minnesota and it is crazy cold here.My laptop stopped working 2 weeks ago.
